Yesterday, the Education and Training Sector Working Group Committee held the inaugural meeting in the boardroom of the Bunyala Sub-County Education Office.

The Committee which is led by Dr Mutere was today chaired by retired Principal Mrs Ann Khasenye. Other members of the committee are Mr Thaddeus Dondo, Mr Stephen Lutta, Mr Ibrahim Inganga, Ms Jayan Okello, Mrs Angeline Okochi and Mr Fabian Mahaga Executive Director Mafabwi Consultancy .

The committee deliberated on the affairs of education and drew the roadmap to guide them in future engagements.

The meeting was also attended by the Bunyala Sub-County Director of Education Mr George Owoche. He promised to support the committee in its endeavours.

After the meeting, the committee toured the Teresa Oyiolo Library. They promised to work with the management of the Library to ensure that the facility is used optimally.

Yesterday, Director Mafabwi Consultancy Mr Fabiano Mahaga accompanied by Mr Ojiambo Jacob Nang'oma held a follow-up meeting with the Sub-County Youth Officer for Bunyala Sub-County Mr Harrison Likholo. In the meeting, we resolved to strengthen the management of the Youth Empowerment Centre and re-strategise for the benefit of the youth.

It is exciton to report that the Youth Empowerment Centre will henceforth be dispensing the following services for the benefit of our young people:
1. Guiding and Counselling
2. Mentorship Program
3. Entrepreneurship and Winning Proposal Writing
4. Talent Exposure
5. Leadership and Management Training
6. Healthier Behaviour

We are fast-tracking having free Wi-Fi services at the Centre. Renovation of the centre, fencing, gate and sentry construction is scheduled to begin soon. We are determined to make youth busy for a purpose and the Centre vibrant.

The importance placed on understanding stakeholder behaviours and attitudes has never been more important. Being able to understand stakeholder’s beliefs gives a basis of knowledge on how to effectively manage the relationship with them.

There is also a need for obtaining feedback from key stakeholders to ensure they are having their needs met, while still having a positive impact on the area of operation.

The advantages of effective collaborative governance are that it enables a better and shared understanding of complex problems involving many stakeholders and allows these stakeholders to work together and agree on solutions. It can help policymakers identify and target problems and deliver action more effectively.

Today, Fabiano Mahaga Bwire of Mafabwi Consultancy, together with Mr Jacob Ojiambo Jacob Nang'oma, Mr Silas Wandera of the Centre for the Study of Adolescence, and Mr Stephen Abwoga of Bulala FM C.B.O met Dr Paul Papa, the Deputy County Commissioner of Bunyala Sub-County to share with him the findings and recommendations of the Multi-Sectoral Report on Drugs and Substance Abuse.

Dr Papa assured the team of his support and promised to walk with us on the journey of a drug-free society.

The Executive Director of Mafabwi Consultancy Mr Fabian Mahaga joined the Village Administrator of Budalangi Village Unit Mr Jacob Ojiambo during the graduation ceremony at Bethel School in Bunyala North Ward.

Mr Mahaga challenged parents to carefully attend to the education of their children to enjoy the fruits during their sunset days.
Likening education to a tree, they distributed tree seedlings to the parents and pupils of the institution and asked them not only to plant but also to grow them to maturity.

Those present included Mrs Marygoret Nambubi, Mr Steve Abwoga, and Pastor Agostino among others.

The Mafabwi Consultancy in conjunction with the Office of the Village Administrator Budalangi Village Unit held the inaugural meeting of the Budalangi Village Unit Agriculture and Food Security Sector Working Group Committee at the Sub-County headquarters in the Economic Planning boardroom.

The Committee is led by an agriculture consultant Mr James Arimu. Other members include Mr Bonventure Obongoya, Mr Lucas Anduga, Mr Willis Nyongesa, Mr Justus Nafuar, Mrs Wilmina Obora and Mr Fabian Mahaga who is also the Executive Director of the Mafabwi Consultancy.

This is one of the Big Five Dockets that are being spearheaded by the Village Administrator Mr Jacob Ojiambo in the Budalangi Village Unit.

The Mafabwi Consultancy is proud to be the consultancy service provider to the Village Unit.
