Our mission
To provide and promote Holistic development strategy based on Christian Principles and sound moral values. Star Light High School Kamukuywa is a Secondary School Registered by the Kenya Ministry Of Education Science and Technology offering the 8-4-4 curriculum. The school began in 2010 and has successfully grown to its current position, though with various challenges but with God every
thing has been possible. The School is a mixed day and boarding Secondary school, located 700 meters from Kamukuywa Town, in Kamukuywa Kimilili Sub County, Bungoma County. The school provides boarding facilities within the school for students coming from far. We have a well quipped laboratory and plans for constructing the library and the computer lab are on going, but regardless the school has all the syllabi and necessary text books and revision books for all subjects. we have qualified and competitive teachers, subordinate staffs and high security for smooth learning environment. we are focused on high academic performance of learners. Examinable subjects in school include:
Core Subjects: English, Kiswahili, Math,
Sciences: (Chemistry is compulsory), Biology/ Physics
(Choose at least two sciences)
Humanities: History, Geography. is compulsory
for Form 1,2 and 3 only)
(Choose at least one of the three)
Technical Subjects: Computer and Business studies. (Choose at least one)
The school offers unique skills of teaching and learning that include regulars assessments, thorough revision and closer attention to students with special needs in various subjects. Research text books are available. Teachers, as well use can use Computers available in school to conduct further research.
