Today, We had a successful SCIENCE DAY.

This is one of our calendar events as we Strive for Quality Education and improved Standards of learning.

This is built on the competencies of CBC as Demonstrated During Science Day at Kipyosit Noble Academy.

1. Communication and Collaboration

Learners confidently explained experiments, models, and innovations to peers, teachers, and visitors. Group projects encouraged teamwork, discussion, listening skills, and respectful exchange of ideas.

2. Critical Thinking and Problem Solving

Through scientific investigations, learners identified problems, formed hypotheses, tested solutions, and drew conclusions. They applied reasoning to real-life challenges such as environmental conservation, health, and technology.

3. Creativity and Imagination

Science exhibits showcased innovative thinking through improvised materials, creative models, simulations, and experiments. Learners demonstrated originality in designing solutions and presenting scientific concepts.

4. Citizenship

Projects reflected responsibility toward the community and environment, including themes on sustainability, hygiene, safety, and conservation. Learners showed awareness of ethical use of science for societal good.

5. Digital Literacy

Use of digital tools such as tablets, simulations, charts, and multimedia presentations enhanced learning. Learners demonstrated responsible use of technology in research, data presentation, and communication.

6. Learning to Learn

Learners reflected on their learning processes, identified what worked and what needed improvement, and demonstrated curiosity and self-motivation through inquiry-based exploration.

7. Self-Efficacy

By independently presenting and defending their work, learners built confidence, resilience, and a positive self-belief in their ability to learn, experiment, and innovate.

Theme Connection

The hands-on, experiential learning approach used during Science Day effectively integrated all seven CBC competencies, enabling learners to apply knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes across learning areas in a meaningful and practical way.
