PROJECT2017 desires to generate resources to build capacity for ‘Citizen Accountability.’ During the General elections of 2013 the elected leaders made very many progressive promises of how to end extreme poverty in Kenya. Indeed to this end, a number of development blueprints have been developed such as continuation of vision2030 (initiated by an earlier government), Medium term development plan

2013 – 2017, and the consolidated Jubilee Manifesto. PROJECT2017, hopes to build the capacity of the ordinary citizen, to track these promises so that come 2017 they can make informed electoral decisions based on actual rather than perceived performance. To do this however requires resources; and it is for that reason, that KFSE using its strongly held belief, that local resources, if properly utilized can generate enough for the community, hopes to market the very symbol of our culture, - the Masai Shukas, for Kshs 650 (exclusive of transport & tax) to people in Kenya and out of Kenya. We encourage you to support this initiative by getting a Masai Shuka branded “PROJECT2017” to support this initiative. By so doing, you will help us achieve the goal of demonstrating that we can use locally available resources to break out of the cycle of abject poverty.
