At Asembo Riverside Model School, we continue to seek simple, local, and sustainable solutions to improve the learning environment for our children.
One of the challenges we have faced has been excessive smoke in the school kitchen, creating an uncomfortable working environment for the staff who prepare meals for our learners every day.
In an attempt to reduce the smoke, our local artisans have designed and constructed a chimney using locally available materials. This small but important innovation demonstrates how community knowledge and creativity can help solve everyday challenges.
We are proud of the initiative and grateful to everyone who continues to contribute their skills and ideas to improving our school.
Every improvement, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to creating a healthier and safer environment for both our pupils and staff.
