It was born out of the DESIRE to show students/pupils that regardless of learning challenges, they can still make it in life, and that everybody else who succeeded in education met and surmounted challenges. These challenges are economical, psychological, social, and health-related. The DESIRE was birthed and actualized when the Kenyan team noted that the City of Rochester in New York, USA, was al

Somehow, the world today emphasizes wealth and fine life/style. This can erroneously drive one to go for well paying professions. We believe that if monetary motivation spreads into careers, it’ll definitely dilute/ruin quality of service. For example, a medical doctor should be motivated to have a patient treated at a reasonable cost. Pursue medical degree but remember that the bigger goal should be passion and good service, not just financial growth aspect. Pillars of Hope-Kenya!

I remember 5 years ago in an engineering class; it was something called the "Theory of Bending". Upon hindsight, I can say education helps a lot in terms of what u can apply in daily life, for your own non employment consumption! Today, I can put up my house with bespoke recommendations, something which I can only do purely because of the " Theory of Bending" class! Pillars of Hope-Kenya

It is as plain as this: learning takes time. People are not born drivers, engineers or nurses. We get trained. To some it takes time while to others compararatively shorter. Each one of us needs time prove himself/herself. Let's learn to tolerate everyone! And Pillars of Hope is replete with that lesson!
While our core business is education, we don't leave behind emphasis on meritocracy. Last year's high school final examinations gave us as Kenyans the importance of academic meritocracy. We believe in genuine hardwork and thus encourage all learners to stick to that. It does pay, for sure!
Hello to all! It is balanced opinion that education, at all levels and training, will make a complete society. Recently, in Kenya, there has been silence on technical education emphasis. We believe that College(middle level) still offer invaluable skills which are vital in major segments of the economy. Let us, there, not forget about welding& fabrication; plumbing; masonry; Motor vehicle wiring; Electrical wiring; Carpentry & Joinery; Woodwork; Tailoring; Hairdressing & Beauty; Panel beating & Spraying; Air Conditioning & Refrigeration etc. We still believe these skills are constantly needed in Kenya and out of Kenya. We urge those interested to take training in these areas to do so. It rewards, for sure!
Going through learning is a path already trodden by people who lived ahead of us. That Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacokinetics, Hydraulics, Law, Actuarial Science, Avionics, Pathology, Surveying, Design, Linguistics, Nuclear Science etc were done by some people ahead of us. If they succeeded then we definitely can as well. Dedication is the PRICE!
This probably goes to education sector players: At the heart of quality education and training is a mix of hardwork and diligence. Any student or teacher cannot go wrong by abiding to such principles!
Research results have consistently shown that the more educated one is, the more civil he is. In short, there is more order, civility and peace in the society we live!
