LMS PTO encourages parents’ involvement at school and at school functions, organizes fundraising efforts to support school projects, events, etc., and recruits volunteers and coordinates volunteer efforts to staff PTO

functions, and assists with school programs.

Important information to keep in mind!

Current weather forecasts indicate Okinawa may experience its first typhoon of the season early next week.

We wanted to take this opportunity to remind families how DoWEA school operations are impacted at Tropical Cyclone Conditions of Readiness (TCCOR) 1, 1C, 1E, 1R and Storm Watch. DoWEA Pacific South District communicates changes to school operations in partnership with the installations we serve.

Please see attached flyer for detailed information. We encourage families to follow installation safety guidance and monitor weather updates.

Our final PTO meeting will be this Monday, May 18th!

Join us for our final PTO meeting of the school year!

Come celebrate an amazing year with us as we begin transitioning everything over to the new Lester Middle School PTO board for next school year!

We’ll have treats, time to reflect on all that was accomplished this year, and a vote for the remaining Vice President position for the new board.

We’d love to see parents, supporters, and anyone interested in being involved next year there as we wrap up the year together!

Our Student Council is looking for a few parent volunteers to assist with their end-of-year drink giveaway for students! Student Council members will be taking the lead in handing out the drinks, but extra parent helpers are appreciated to assist where needed and help everything run smoothly.

This is a simple and fun way to support our students as they wrap up the school year! Even if you are only available for a short time this Friday, May 15th, we would greatly appreciate the help. Thank you for supporting our Student Council students!

We wrapped up the week inspired by Match Game with some perfectly matched sweet treats and desserts for our amazing staff!
