Wrapping Up Session 4: Exploring David Hockney
As we wrap up Session 4, our students have been having so much fun exploring the colorful and imaginative world of the famous artist David Hockney!
Through his artwork, they discovered how colors, shapes, perspectives, and different viewpoints can change the way we see the world. They enjoyed looking at objects from different angles, experimenting with color, and creating their own unique artworks inspired by Hockney’s creative ideas.
It has been wonderful to watch our young artists explore, create, and express their ideas with so much curiosity and joy!
What a creative and colorful session it has been!

SUMMER SCHOOL SESSION 3 — ANDY WARHOL!
Pop Art, bold colors, and a whole lot of creativity!
This week, our explorers stepped into the colorful world of Andy Warhol, one of the most famous Pop Art artists!
Inspired by Warhol’s love of bright colors, everyday objects, and repetition, our students experimented with bold colors, playful patterns, and their own unique ideas.
From ordinary objects to extraordinary artworks, they discovered that art can be everywhere!
A week full of creativity, curiosity, and lots of colorful moments!

今年のテーマは、"Painting with Endless Expression!!"
この夏、自由な発想で“描く”ことを楽しみながら、自分だけの表現を見つけるサマースクールがはじまります！
クラフト制作やWater Play、体を動かすアクティビティを通して、遊びの中で自然に英語にも親しみます。
アートと文化を通じて新しい発見を楽しみながら、表現力と探究心を育んでいきます。

そしてあの特別な一日が、帰ってくる!
この夏は海を望むプライベートプールへ。 青い海をながめながら、友達と泳いで、はねて、水しぶきをあげて、皆んなで楽しい最高の夏にしよう！

At Hayama International School’s Summer School, the2026 theme is “Painting with Endless Expression!!”,where children will explore creativity, imagination, and
self-expression through a variety of engaging experiences each week.
Each week’s theme comes to life through hands-on activities such as craft making,
water play, and active exploration. Through play, children are encouraged to think, discover, and express their ideas freely while developing their creativity and sense of inquiry.

The day everyone's been waiting for is here! This summer, we're heading to an ocean-view private pool!
Swim, splash, and soak up the view with your friends.

Summer School Session 2!
Today marks the final day of our Picasso-inspired adventure. Throughout the week, our students explored colors, shapes, and creativity through fun art projects while making wonderful memories together.
From exciting outdoor play to hands-on crafts, every smile, laugh, and masterpiece showed how much they learned and grew.
We are so proud of each and every student for their curiosity, imagination, and joyful spirit.
We hope everyone has a safe, happy, and memorable summer. See you again soon!
