🇯🇵 BIG UPDATE: Japan’s New ESD Program Starting April 2027!
Attention future OFWs and Japan-bound workers! 📢
The Japanese government has officially restructured the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP) into the new Employment for Skill Development (ESD) Program — set to take effect April 1, 2027.
Here’s what you need to know:
✅ ESD replaces TITP, aiming to develop workers up to Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) level within 3 years
✅ Workers can now change employers under certain conditions (mas protektado ang rights ng foreign workers!)
✅ A1 level Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N5 equivalent) is now required BEFORE starting work in Japan
