🍵みんなで願い事🍵
7月7日、七夕ですね＾＾
先日、2年ぶりに
地域の七夕の集まりがありました。
八女の私たちの地域では、
みんなで竹に飾り付けをして、
川の近くにそれを立て、
米と魚と塩と酒を少しずつ川にまき、
手を合わせて願い事をします。
そして、
残った魚をつまみつつ
お酒を呑みながら雑談。
来年も再来年も、
ずーっとこの行事ができるといいな。

In Japan, we have an event called Tanabata on July 7.
It is an event to make wishes to the stars.
In Yame, people decorate bamboos and set them up near a river.
Rice, fish, salt, and sake are sprinkled into the river, and people join hands to make a wish.
Then, they eat the leftover fish and chat over sake.
What do you wish for?
