What are our K5 students creating this time? A TIME capsule!

Filled with memories from their K5 year, the children measured their height, added their favorite drawings, crafts, and even a few small treasures. These special capsules will be opened in 5, 10 years, and maybe even when they turn 20!? 😍

What a beautiful way to capture this moment in time and look forward to the amazing futures waiting for them.

K5で過ごした思い出をぎゅっと詰め込んで、身長を測ったり、お気に入りの作品や小さな宝物を入れました。5年後、10年後、そして20歳になったときに開ける予定です。

Adventure together!

Our K5, K4, and K3 students went on a farm field trip to learn how milk is produced as part of our “Healthy Habits” theme. From seeing the cows up close to enjoying delicious ice cream and a picnic under the beautiful sky, it was a day full of learning and laughter.
Growing healthy bodies😁 ...and curious minds 🤩 together!

みんなでアドベンチャー！
K5・K4・K3のみんなで牧場へフィールドトリップに行き、「健康な習慣」のテーマのもと、牛乳がどのように作られるのかを学びました。牛を間近で見たり、美味しいアイスクリームを食べたり、気持ちの良いお天気の中でピクニックも楽しみました。
学びと笑顔があふれる、素敵な一日になりました！

Our K3 students had a fantastic time during P.E! They challenged themselves on the monkey bar and had so much fun moving through the obstacle course.

They build strength, confidence, and teamwork while celebrating each other’s unique abilities... We are so proud of their growth and resilience!

K3クラスは体育の時間に楽しく体を動かしました！うんていに挑戦し、あきらめずに頑張る姿がとても素晴らしかったです。また、障害物コースでも元気いっぱいに楽しみました。

Our little PreK students enjoyed a wonderful cultural field trip filled with hands-on discovery. They explored musical instruments from around the world and participated in fun science experiments that sparked their curiosity. ✨
The day ended with a healthy packed lunch and a lovely picnic. Yay!

PreKの子どもたちは、文化をテーマにしたフィールドトリップを楽しみました。世界の楽器に触れたり、楽しいサイエンス実験に参加したりと、体験を通して学びを深めました。✨
最後はヘルシーなお弁当でピクニックを楽しみ、多様性や友情、そして共に学ぶ喜びを感じる一日となりました。

Our K4 children had a wonderful time welcoming the holiday season! With gentle guidance, they mixed, poured, and stirred their warm hot cocoa—such a cozy treat after decorating their classroom Christmas tree. Their smiles (and chocolate mustaches!) made the day truly festive. ☕🎄

K5 held a special storytelling activity for our little ones in Preschool in occasion of their Community Day! Preschoolers enjoyed following the adventures of the Gingerbread Man to the chant of "run, run as fast as you can!" and even had the chance to taste real gingerbread at the end. Opportunities like these are a great way for children to connect across grade levels and feel like a contributing and cared for member of the CFIS community 🧡

K5の子どもたちは、コミュニティデーの活動としてプリスクールのお友達のために特別な読み聞かせアクティビティーを開催しました！プリスクールは「走れ、走れ、できる限り速く！」という掛け声と共にジンジャーブレッドマンの冒険を追いかけて楽しみ、最後には本物のジンジャーブレッドを味わってみることも体験できました。このような活動は異年齢の子どもたちの交流の場になり、CFISコミュニティの一員として貢献できる、大切にされていると感じられる素晴らしい機会にもなっています🧡

Our Story

Welcome to Central Forest International School - GSAIS Chuo-Rinkan! Founded in 2011, we will soon be celebrating our 9th anniversary with the same passion for education: our fun, hands-on curriculum is based on the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) and encourages learning through exploration, while providing the children with solid literacy and numeracy foundations.
