【シンガポール国立大学へ】
本日から若手職員が #シンガポール での活動をSTART😊
福島県唯一の震災遺構「浪江町立請戸小学校」で現場のリーダーを務める彼が、シンガポール国立大学の学生たちと国際交流を行います。
学生たちは、請戸小学校を研究・論文のテーマとして取り上げています。震災の記憶や教訓が国境を越え、今後どのような交流へ発展していくのか、私たちも楽しみにしています。
請戸小学校をはじめ、私たちが全国で携わる事業において、外国人の誘致、いわゆる「 #インバウンド」の視点は欠かせません。
しかし、それ以上に大切なのは、迎える私たち日本人が、相手の国や地域、文化、宗教を理解しようとすることです。
人を迎えるためには、まず自らが外へ出て、相手を知る。
私たちは「 #アウトバウンド」にも積極的に取り組み、こうした国際交流の機会を、次の時代を担う若い人材の成長の一助になれればと思います😊

【To the National University of Singapore】
Today, one of our young staff members began his activities in Singapore.
As a team leader at the Namie Municipal Ukedo Elementary School Earthquake Ruins—the only preserved earthquake disaster site in Fukushima Prefecture—he will engage with students from the National University of Singapore.
The students have chosen Ukedo Elementary School as a subject for their academic research and papers. We look forward to seeing how the lessons and memories of the Great East Japan Earthquake will transcend national borders and develop into new research and international collaboration.
Attracting international visitors—“inbound tourism”—is essential to Ukedo Elementary School and the projects we manage across Japan.
However, what matters even more is that we, as Japanese people welcoming visitors, make an effort to understand their countries, communities, cultures, and religions.
To welcome others, we must first venture beyond our own borders and learn about them.
Through active outbound engagement and opportunities like this, we hope to broaden the perspectives of our young staff and nurture the next generation of internationally minded leaders.
