MANABIの学生たちは上田っしょいに参加し、みんなで元気いっぱい踊りました！
地域の皆さんと一緒に笑顔で踊り、夏祭りならではのにぎやかな雰囲気を楽しみながら、忘れられない夏の思い出をつくることができました。✨
教室の外で日本文化に触れ、地域の方々と交流できるのもMANABIならではの魅力です。

Dancing Through Summer at Ueda Wasshoi! ☀️
Our students had an amazing time participating in Ueda Wasshoi, one of Ueda's most exciting summer festivals!
Together with the local community, they danced through the streets with big smiles, lots of energy, and plenty of enthusiasm. Every step, every laugh, and every moment made this festival a truly unforgettable experience.
Events like these allow our students to experience Japanese culture beyond the classroom while creating wonderful memories with friends and the local community.

祇園祭に参加しました！🏮
400年以上続いている歴史ある「上田祇園祭」が7月18日（土）に開催され、MANABIからは27名の学生が参加しました！
当日は材木町の皆さんと一緒に、元気いっぱいお神輿を担ぎました💪
美味しいお食事や飲み物までご用意していただき、学生たちにとって忘れられない最高の思い出になりました✨
材木町の皆様、温かいおもてなしを本当にありがとうございました！
これからもMANABIでたくさんの楽しい思い出をつくっていきましょう😊🏫🌸

🏮✨ Joining a 400-Year-Old Tradition! ✨
Last week, 27 students from MANABI Nagano had the incredible opportunity to take part in the Ueda Gion Festival, a historic celebration with more than 400 years of tradition.
Together with members of the local community, our students proudly carried the mikoshi through the streets of Ueda, experiencing the energy, teamwork, and spirit of one of Japan's most beloved summer festivals. 💪
The kindness of everyone in Zaimokucho made the day even more special. Our students were warmly welcomed and even enjoyed delicious food and drinks, creating memories they'll cherish for years to come.🏮

🎋✨ 長野ならではの七夕を体験しました！ ✨
長野では七夕は7月ではなく8月に行われます。その地域の風習に合わせて、MANABI長野校でも七夕の授業を行いました。
学生たちは動画で七夕の物語を学び、折り紙で飾りを作って笹に飾りました。短冊には「日本語がもっと上手になりたい」「家族が健康でありますように」など、それぞれの願いを心を込めて書きました。🌟
学校の近くの商店街でも8月に七夕まつりが開催される予定です。
日本語だけでなく、地域ならではの文化や季節の行事を体験できるのも、MANABI長野校で学ぶ魅力のひとつです。🎋🇯🇵

🎋✨ Experiencing Tanabata the Nagano Way! ✨
Did you know that in Nagano, Tanabata is celebrated in August instead of July? To match this local tradition, our students at MANABI Nagano enjoyed a special Tanabata lesson.
They watched the story of Tanabata, created beautiful bamboo decorations with origami, and wrote their wishes on colorful tanzaku. From improving their Japanese skills to wishing for their family's health, every wish reflected something meaningful to them. 🌟
Just around the corner from our school, the local shopping street will also celebrate the Tanabata Festival in August, giving students another opportunity to experience this wonderful tradition.
Learning Japanese means discovering the unique customs that make each region of Japan special. 🎋🇯🇵

6月1日、MANABI外語学院の学生たちは上田市の別所温泉を訪れ、校外学習を行いました。

安楽寺と北向観音を参拝し、そこに息づく歴史や文化についてたくさん勉強しました。ただ見るだけでなく、実際にその土地の歴史に触れることで、新しい発見がたくさんありました！

歩き疲れた後半は、みんなで足湯に浸かってリフレッシュ。お互いの仲もさらに深まった素敵な校外学習になりました。

On June 1st, students from MANABI Foreign Language Institute visited Bessho Onsen in Ueda City for a field trip!

We visited Anrakuji Temple and Kitamuki Kannon, where we learned so much about the rich history and culture alive in the area. Instead of just sightseeing, experiencing the local history firsthand gave us many new insights!

In the afternoon, after doing a lot of walking, we all relaxed and refreshed our feet in the ashiyu (footbath). It was a wonderful field trip that brought us all closer together!

5/29 MANABI外語学院にて就職希望の学生を対象に特別授業が行われました。
お迎えしたのは、アルピコホールディングス株式会社代表取締役社長佐藤裕一様です。
日本での就職を目指して毎日勉強している学生たちへ、『日本企業が求める外国人材』というテーマでお話いただきました。
アルピコグループの会社説明をしていただいた後、日本で働くために必要な「整理・整頓・清掃・清潔・しつけ」の５Ｓの大切さ。チャレンジする力の大切さを教えていただきました。
最後は代表の学生からお礼の言葉をお伝えし、全員で記念撮影を行いました。
自分らしさを大切に！教えていただいたことを胸に、夢に向かってがんばりましょう！

On May 29th, MANABI held a special seminar for our job-seeking students. We were deeply honored to welcome Mr. Yuichi Sato, President and Representative Director of Alpico Holdings Co., Ltd.!
Speaking on the theme of "Foreign Talent Welcomed by Japanese Companies," Mr. Sato introduced the Alpico Group and shared the core values needed to thrive in Japan’s business world. He emphasized the vital importance of the "5S" framework and the power of embracing new challenges. 📈🌸
To wrap up this inspiring day, our student representative delivered a heartfelt thank-you speech, followed by a commemorative group photo. 📸
