SPEAKERS WANTED!
Tsukuba International School (https://tis.ac.jp) in Tsukuba, Ibaraki will hold its annual "TIS Futures" event for high school students on Thursday, November 14 from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. We are looking for speakers who can come to our school on that day and inspire our students!
The purpose of TIS Futures is to help our students explore various paths that they might be interested in taking in the future, and to encourage them to think about the decisions they will need to make in order to get where they want to go.
Students and parents in Grades 9 to 12 identified the following career domains as being of especial interest.
-- arts/design / media / architecture
-- business / finance / startups / entrepreneurship
-- information technology
-- law
-- languages
-- science / medicine / psychology
-- engineering
-- sports
-- education / academia / research
-- other career domains
Ways you can help:
-- Travel to our school in Tsukuba, Ibaraki to speak to our students about your career path in one of these domains
-- Introduce others who might be able to speak about one or more of these domains
-- Share this post with others in your network so we might be able to find some great speakers
