On November 28 and 29, We attended the Meeting of the Chugoku-Shikoku Chapter of the Society of Agricultural Meteorology of Japan held at the Arid Land Research Center, Tottori University.
It was meaningful for us to learn about the latest research on arid land and to have discussions with various people.

The Himeyama Festival (姫山祭) was held at Yamaguchi University on November 3.
Although the weather had been bad until the day before, the day of the festival turned out to be a beautiful day and the place was crowded.

The lantern festival (Chochin-matsuri) was held in Yamaguchi City on the 6th and 7th.
It is said to be one of the three largest fire festivals in Japan.
It was very powerful with many lanterns decorated.🏮
