A signing ceremony for agreement on student exchange with Liaoning University of International Business and Economics in China was held at Ikebukuro campus on November 13, 2017. By signing this agreement, we will promote mutual exchange among students.

Guraduation ceremony for academic year 2016 was held at Isesaki-shi Bunkakaikan on 24th, March. Students including many foreign students, from graduate school, faculties, college, and Japanese Language Program. The graduates took their first steps forward.

6exchange students from partner universities of Mainland China and Taiwan, has arrived and now are studying from this Autumn. They will spend their study-abroad days at Tokyo University of Social Welfare for half a year, and interact with Japanese students. On 26th November, Campus tour to Isesaki, Ikebukuro and Oji campuses was held, and 5 of the 6 students participated. There was also Japanese food culture experience in this tour, and it was fulfilling day for the exchange students.

Off-Campus classes for Isesaki campus Japanese Language Program 2nd year students was held at Nikko area on 28th October.
They had free time after taking photos altogether at Toshogu, and strolled around in five groups.
In this off-campus class, students learnt codes of behavior such as punctuality and rules of garbage through visit of a Japanese cultural heritage.

Off-Campus classes for Ikebukuro campus Japanese Language Program 2nd year students was held at Mt. Fuji on 27th October.
It was cloudy when they arrived at the fifth stage station(approximately half way) to the summit, but it was sunny on the way to the station, and many students took photos from their buses.
They had free time after taking photos altogether at the fifth station, and enjoyed eating lunch and walks around the station.

As a part of “Communication Hour”, Halloween party was held at Isesaki campus on October 31st and at Ikebukuro campus on November 2nd.
The aim of Communication Hour is to promote international exchange between foreign students and Japanese students. Foreign students in both campuses take major roles to host seasonal events, and programs to introduce cultures of foreign students’ countries or Japan.

Two new European students, Florentina from Romania, and Anna from Poland, has arrived, and are starting their Japanese language program classes in Nagoya from this October.
When they first visited Ikebukuro, Oji and Isesaki campuses, senior “sen-pai” foreign students in each campuses led them to show around their campuses.
In Nagoya, they also went to annual Yebisu Festival at Choja-Machi in Marunouchi area, where their campus is located, and enjoyed Japanese festival with other foreign students.
