So so proud of this student passing her Eiken Grade Pre-1 test! She is such a hard worker and her efforts paid off.

SIDE NOTE: Many universities put a lot of weight (or outright require) the pre-1 certification. However I really don't think this test is a great evaluation of language ability for high school students. The difficulty of the topics is such that they struggle to understand/answer even in their native language. I hope that in the future, an exam specifically for junior high and high school students will be created to better suit their level of understanding about the world.

I'm truely proud of this student for never giving up, and wish them the best in their future.
