My name is Jason from enjoy英会話. This ranged from 500円 and even 5000円.

I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about why I started to teach English in Japan and why I love it so. It all started just after the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami on March 11th. I really wanted to help those effected but was unable to travel there due to the continued danger. My mother-in-law (who also studies english) thought it might be a good idea to volunteer and teach

English at a local coffee shop and collect donations. I decided to set a fee of 100円 per student with all the proceedings going to the victims of the disaster. However to my surprise, The first class exceeded 25 students and instead of donating 100円, they all each donated as much as they could afford. By the end of the week I had managed to raise close to 40,000yen and took the money to the local Newspaper office in Tajimi city which was then printed in the following days edition. I was moved by the strength and compassion of Japan and from popular request I was honoured to continue teaching. So I have made it my goal to make English fun to learn and firmly believe that if one enjoys what one does in life then even the most difficult of challenges can be achieved. hence naming the business enjoy英会話
