Have you ever tried wearing Yukata? Some of you might have heard of kimono but not yukata. Yukata is a bit more casually worn by people in Japan than Kimono, usually in summer season. People wear it to go to summer festivals and to see fireworks oftentimes, eating foods sold at food stalls. In this program, a profesional kimono dresser teaches and assists you to wear it comfortably. After wearing it, you can enjoy taking photos and walking around the town. I know there are many activities like this in other parts of Japan but I would recommend you doing this here in Hokkaido since it’s not that hot so you will be able to enjoy more comfortably.

What surprised me when I came in Kushiro for the first time was the wildlife. You can normally see wild animals here that aren’t common to be observed in any other places all over Japan. I moved here last year and am still in the process of getting used to it.
