Winter is full of questions.
Winter invites children to slow down, notice, and explore the world in new ways.
Instead of giving answers, try asking:
✨ “What do you notice?”
✨ “What do you think will happen?”
✨ “How can we find out?”
Here are simple winter inquiry ideas for ages 0–6:
❄️ What happens to water when it gets very cold?
❄️ Why do we wear coats, hats, and gloves?
❄️ What feels cold outside? What feels warm?
❄️ What changes do you notice in trees and plants?
❄️ What do animals do in winter?
Winter learning doesn’t need worksheets — it lives in real moments of wonder.
