He cantado esta canción a mi mamá desde que tenía 5 años. Recuerdo cuánto la disfruté aquel día, cantándola durante la celebración del Día de la Madre en mi jardín de infantes. Para mí, se ha convertido en un himno dedicado a ella, porque siento que he heredado su ligereza de espíritu, esa capacidad de entender que, con un buen baile, canciones inventadas y una mirada positiva, todo pasa como tiene que pasar. Claro que, en contraste, de mi padre heredé la terquedad y el sentido del honor.
