２１２英会話について
日本人が本当に英語話せるようになってほしくてこの学校を作りました。多くの人が大手英会話学校に大金を払って英会話を勉強していると思いますが、 本当に話せるようになった人はあまりいないかもしれません。一体問題はなんでしょう。やはり時間です。英語に触れる時間が少なすぎるのが原因だと思います。２１２英会話は、この問題について改善したいと思っています。個々の生徒の能力を分析し、もっと英語を使って話す時間を増やすことが大切です。２１２英会話の特徴は、教科書式の英語ではなく、もっとリアルな英語で自分の考えを伝えられるようになれます。

２１２英会話の特徴
２１２英会話にとって大事のことは２つ、家族とコミュニテイです。私達は子供にも、大人にも通いやすい、親しみのある英会話学校を作りたいと思っています。一人一人の生徒様に十分な時間とスペースをご提供することで、自分にあったペースで成長

していただけます。 ２１２英会話が他の英会話学校と圧倒的に異なる点は、レッスンの回数も多く、そして時間も長いことです。ここが決定的に違います。ピアノや他の習い事と同じで、一週間に一回３０分のレッスンではなかなか上達しません。

「２１２」の名前の由来
答えは簡単です。 ニューヨークといえば、マンハッタンですね。マンハッタンには有名な場所がありますが、皆さんご存知でしょうか。タイムズスクエア、センターパーク、エンパイアステートビルなどたくさんあります。マンハッタンに電話をかけるときは頭に「２１２」をつけます。つまり、「２１２」はニューヨークマンハッタンの市外局番です。ニューヨークで生まれ育った私にはこの学校の名前にぴったりだと思いました。

プロフィール
私は1983年にニューヨークで生まれました。私の両親は、アメリカは子供の成長に良い環境と考え、40年前ドミニカ共和国のカリブ海の島からニューヨークに移り住みました。私は高校までカトリックの学校に通い、アイオナ大学ではコンピューターサイエンスを専攻しました。卒業後、2年間フライトアテンダント、3年間地元のカトリックの小学校で英語教師として働きました。その後、どうしても日本が好きで、1年ほどフライトアテンダントの仕事に戻りましたが、ついに決断し、4年前に日本に移り住み、念願の日本での英語教師の仕事を始めました。
