Since the 1970s Black History Month has been celebrated in the United States and Canada every February. It is also known as African-American History Month, and is a way to remember important events and people who contributed to the abolition of slavery and evolution of the Civil Rights movement. Some famous people include Martin Luther King Jr, Rosa Parks and Frederick Douglass. Have you heard of them?

2025年が幕を開けました！新年あけましておめでとうございます！今年も、クラスルームに生徒さんの元気な笑い声が響き渡り、賑やかな日々が戻ってきました。
今年もOEKで素晴らしい瞬間がたくさん訪れますように。

Happy New Year! 2025 has officially begun. Our classrooms are once again filled with the cheerful laughter of our students, and lively days have started once again. May your year be filled with wonderful moments at OEK. We look forward to your many future accomplishments in your English language learning journey this year!

This year, we were once again inspired by your enthusiasm for learning English, and we had a wonderful time filled with smiles and joy. On behalf of all the staff, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for another awesome year together!

We ask for your understanding regarding the limited updates on our social media. As an English conversation school, we tend to prioritize in-person communication over maintaining our online presence, which sometimes leaves us with less time for posting here and updating our other media accounts, but in the coming year, we want to strive to make a greater effort to share more of the amazing work and memories our school is creating with you.

We look forward to continuing to work with you in 2024.
