We had the opportunity to meet the Irish Ambassador to Japan. There are staff at the Embassy of Ireland who are studying at Nichibei. The Embassy of Ireland and Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin are located only two minutes by foot from each other. We hope to continue to keep in contact and strengthen our ties going forward.

We learned about things to know and be careful about when job-hunting in Japan.
Students who wish to work at Japanese companies gathered and discussed what Japanese companies seek from foreign workers.

Improving Japanese ability is essential to being able to communicate in Japanese with coworkers, higher-ups, and business partners. The students felt the necessity of Japanese language qualifications during interviews as well, and they became more motivated to increase the amount they study.

日本で就職活動をするときに、知っておきたいこと、気をつけておくべきことを学びました。日本企業に就職したい学生が集まって、日本の企業が外国人に求めているのは、どんなことかについてディスカッションしました。

日本語で、同僚や上司、取引先とやりとりできるようになるために、必要な日本語力を高めていかなければなりません。面接でも、日本語能力をアピールできる資格の必要性を感じて、これからもっと勉強量を増やそうと、学生の意欲が高まりました。

We at JLI held the very loved International Lunch Meeting again! 🌏🍛

Our international students studying Japanese came together with Japanese students studying English to chat and enjoy cultural exchange in a relaxed setting.

This time, we shared some delicious Indian curry while talking and getting to know each other. It was a lot of fun and a great opportunity to learn from one another!

日本語を勉強している留学生と、英語を勉強している日本人学生が集まり、リラックスした雰囲気の中でおしゃべりを楽しみながら文化交流を行いました。

今回はおいしいインドカレーを一緒に食べながら、お互いに話したり、交流を深めたりしました。とても楽しく、互いに学び合う素晴らしい機会になりました！
