AARC 2026 “Connect, Collaborate and Transform” was successfully held in a hybrid format during EASL 2026 in Barcelona.

The meeting featured lively and productive discussions among participants, generating valuable insights and new perspectives for the future of ACLF research and collaboration. The strong engagement and exchange of ideas further reinforced the momentum for advancing the Consortium’s mission and activities.

APASL 2027 will be held on Australian soil and we’re excited to invite you to submit your abstract and showcase your research to the global liver and hepatology community.

Abstract Submission options include:

General Abstract Submissions

There is no limit to how many general abstracts you may submit.
Oral and Poster Presentation opportunities available.
Young Investigator Award (YIA) Abstract Submissions

One (1) abstract per applicant may be submitted for this award.
Eighteen (18) finalists will present within a dedicated program session.
One (1) Clinical Research and One (1) Basic Science winner will receive $2,000 AUD and Runners up $1,000 AUD for Clinical Research and Basic Science.
Abstracts submissions are encouraged across the following categories of clinical and
basic science:

Viral Hepatitis – Clinical
Viral Hepatitis – Basic Science
Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC)
Alcohol-associated Liver Disease (ALD)
Endo Hepatology
Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Fatty Liver Disease (MAFLD) – Clinical
Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Fatty Liver Disease (MAFLD) – Basic Science
Cholestatic Liver Disease
Portal Hypertension
