Iditが新年の抱負としてコメントをくれました☆
1. What is your new year's resolution?
my new years resolution is to eat healthier food and maybe cook sometimes.

① 2. What is new year's traditional habit of your country?
Jewish people（ユダヤ人） celebrate the new year according to the Jewish calendar, which is different to the Gregorian calendar. During Jewish New Years' people have a traditional family dinner and eat apple and honey, so that the next year will be sweet.

こんばんは！
もうすぐHalloweenがやってきますね☆
先日bでは横浜、新宿とハロウィンイベントが終了いたしました！詳しくはbのブログをチェックしてみてくださいね(^^)/

10月の質問ですが、Iditが答えてくれましたよ( ^ω^ )

①Have you had any horrifying experiences?
怖い体験したことある？

unfortunately Iv'e had a few unpleasant experiences in my life- Like car accidents or building fires.
It's hard to say it was horrifying, it was more stressful, or sad.
The one time I can say I was really scared for my life was when I was about 5 year old, I was with my 2 brothers and my parents in our car, and we had an accident.
I think that if I was older I wouldn't have been so traumatized.
But because I was so young, and I saw some blood (my dad broke his nose) I was sure it was a disaster, but actually no one was badly hurt.


②Can you recommend a novel you have read?
おすすめの本ある？

I can recommend warmly a novel called Brave New World by Aldous Huxley.
It is a distopian novel that describes technological and social changes in the future.
It questions ideas like - what is happiness? what is a family? what is a good society? and even, why do we fear death?

怖い経験というより、悲しい経験・・・でしたね。
子供の頃の恐怖体験は大人になっても鮮明に覚えているものです・・・。

今週木曜日が過ぎた頃から一気に秋らしくなるそうです！
そろそろ衣替え！？

さてさて、本日はレッスンパートナーLanaが答えてくれた
質問をご紹介いたします!(^^)!

①Which season do you like the best?
My favourite season
My favourite season is autumn.
I love seeing the leaves changing colours on the trees.
It's magical. The weather is cool but not too cold yet.
In autumn I really enjoy wrapping up warm and going for a walk before going to a cafe and drinking chai or pumpkin latte.

One of my most treasured memories from childhood is going to the woods with my Nanna (grandmother) in autumn.
We would kick the dried leaves and I would say "swish swish Nanna!".

②What kind of Japanese food do you like?
My favourite Japanese food
This is really hard to answer.
I love cooking and eating Japanese food.
There are too many delicious foods to choose from.
I lived in Akita for a while and nabe is one of my favourites, especially with kiritampo.
I also really love Hokkaido soup curry.

Lanaは秋が好きなんですね☆おばあちゃんとの想い出は今でも
しっかり覚えているほど印象的なものだったのでしょうね♪
後で東京の紅葉スポットを教えてあげたいと思います☆
日本食はなんと！秋田のきりたんぽ鍋がお気に入り！
北海道のスープカレーも好きなようですね♪両方とも身体がぽかぽかになる
この時期にぴったりの日本食ですね(*^-^*)

8月も終わりに近づいてきましたね！
夏は本当に毎年早く過ぎ去っていきます・・・切ない😢
そんな中レッスンパートナーのIditが今月の質問に答えてくれましたよ★
①How did you spend your summer vacation during your childhood?
​①​​子供の頃どのように夏を過ごしましたか​？​​
When I was a child I used to spend a lot of time in front of the TV.
So summer vacation was no different. But, I would also go with parents to trips and hikes in nature.
Sometimes we would go to the beech or the pool. When I grew a bit older, I would go to day camps as well - such as art camp, acting camp, or science camp.
②What kind of drink do you like to have in the summer?
​②​夏に飲みたい飲み物は​？
when I was a child I loved sugary drinks and juices. now I prefer iced tea or sparkling water.
クーラーの元家でゆっくりテレビを観るのも夏の過ごし方の1つかもしれませんね！
たしかに子供のころは甘いジュースを好みますが、大人になるとシンプルにお茶や
お水を好むようになりますよね！不思議(ﾟ∀ﾟ)

①What is a summer tradition in your country?
In Israel, Summer is very long and very hot.
So people often go to the beach or the the dead sea.
A very popular this to eat during summer is Watermelon with Feta cheese.
The combination of sweet and salty is very refreshing.

②What would you like to do this summer?
this summer I would like to get tanned, I feel like it looks much better on me!

スイカとフェタチーズとはおしゃれ☆
日焼けがしたい・・・！さすが海外って感じです！日本人のほとんどの女性は
日焼けを避けますよね（笑）

What would you like to do this summer?

1. A summer tradition in America is to have an outdoor BBQ!
American barbaque is very unique in taste. (If you are ever in Shibuya, there is a tasty BBQ restaurant named SMOKEHOUSE.)
Many family and friends gather together.

While food is cooking (and after we are done eating) we play lots of outdoor games.
Afterwards, at night Americans might sit around a fire pit. We will talk, drink, and have a good time.

2. This summer I would like to go to the park and have a picnic!

東京にもアメリカンバーベキューが味わえるレストランがあるそうです！
食べて飲んで遊んでそんな伝統があるのはアメリカらしいです★
ピクニックは夕暮れ時ならそんなに暑くなさそう！
