Tutor Bio
Japanese harpist, Akiko Iwaki, has moved back to Tokyo, Japan from U.S. Born in Tokyo, Akiko was educated in Japan, France and U. She has been experiencing numerous significant stages as a recitalist, chamber music player and orchestral harpist both in Japan and Europe. Akiko has completed her Master’s degree with distinction at the Royal Academy of Music as a trainee of Japanese Government. In 2011, Akiko has participated the Festival Younger Artists in Bayreuth. Faure’s solo piece for the CD ‘The Outstanding Young Japanese Harpists 2010’ released by Igrek records.
