New Date and Location for March Tea Tasting
Our next tea tasting event will be held on Saturday 19th March at 3pm-4.30pm.
This time our venue is my husband's antique shop, Hudson Antiques, in Kamiochiai, Shinjuku-ku. Nearest train station is Nakai (Seibu-Shinjuku Sen, Oedo Sen). Ochiai station also close by (Metro Tozai Line).
Fee 2,000yen per person.

A friend of mine came over to visit today. I tried to make an "afternoon tea". Sandwiches, mince pies, stollen, and orange cake. A Christmas theme. Am quite pleased with my first attempt. :) We drank with Earl Grey, Sikkim, and a Japanese grown black tea. Yum

Because all my friends know how much I like tea, often when I receive omiyage I luckily receive tea. Which makes me very happy. Today I received this from a student, Hawaiian Rooibos tea by Heavenly Fine Teas. And yes, you guessed right, she went to Hawaii :)
