On March 25, 2026, members of the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra visited the Min-On Culture Center while in Japan to performat the Spring Festival in Tokyo. During their visit, the ensemble held a rehearsal at the Museum Hall.

Min-On Concert Association presented the Japan tour of the Italian ocarina septet Gruppo Ocarinistico Budriese (G.O.B.), marking the ensemble’s third collaboration with Min-On following successful tours in 2023 and 2024. The tour opened on March 14 in Ise City, Mie Prefecture, and concluded on March 26 in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, with a total of eight performances in eight cities.

On April 2, 2026, H.E. Mr. Farid Talibov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Japan, visited the Min-On Culture Center, accompanied by Mr. Sadig Babayev, Counsellor, and Ms. Nermin Babayeva. Min-On Concert Association President Koji Yamaguchi and other representatives welcomed the delegation and held a friendly discussion.

As part of the official debut concert series for prizewinners of the Tokyo International Conducting Competition, Kornilios Michailidis returned to the podium in Lithuania. ✨
Joined by the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, this special occasion marked his distinguished debut as a TICC laureate. The program featured the vibrant rhythms of Chabrier’s España and the rich, exotic colors of Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 5 “Egyptian”, creating a breathtaking musical journey across cultures.
A truly memorable evening highlighting the brilliance of a rising conductor on the international stage. 🎶🌍
