However, it is time to expand the areas of interest and fulfill the original intention of the site to include recipes, household chores, and life during the Victorian era. This video of an old Maid Of Honor skillet didn’t make the final edit. But thought the clip was interesting.

Were Maid of Honor cast-iron skillets made by Lodge Manufacturing? Collectors are unsure who made these pans. Some say the indentations in the heat ring are a strong indication of manufacturing by Lodge. Others say it’s unlikely.

Whatever the answer it’s fun to speculate.

Here's a sweet number 8 Erie skillet. She has a little sulfur pitting but that's not unexpected for the age of the pan.

Hard to believe this pan is around 100 years old and still going strong. Can you see the smile? Collectors call this the smiley logo. Pretty cool right?

Beautiful old tetsubin. It’s simply massive, I wonder who once used it? I reckon they had some big muscles to lift and refill it. I would be so struggling to lift this bad boy. Old school weight lifting Japanese style.
