At Tokyo International Art School, students will be immersed in Art and English through a diverse range of creative studies. As well as teaching traditional art techniques, our lessons also incorporate science, design, nature, geography and world history in a fun and engaging way!

長期に渡りましての休校にご理解いただき誠にありがとうございます。6月9日（火曜日）より幡ヶ谷校、並びに向陽台校を再開致します。検温や消毒、マスクの着用などをご理解の上での授業再開となりますが、安全でポジティブな環境の中で子供たちに学びという場所を提供できます事がとても嬉しいです、ありがとうございます。

保護者の皆様へ

この度は3月の第1週の休講にご理解頂きましてありがとうございました。先日政府から自粛の延長要請が出されたことを受けまして当東京IASも大変残念ですが皆様の健康とこれ以上の感染拡大を防止する為、第2週目のレッスンを24日の週に延期する事を決定致しました。第3週目は31日の週からとなります。今後の状況次第でまた変更する可能性がある事をご了承下さい。

今後のレッスン再開につきまして新型コロナの感染拡大防止といたしまして全員マスク着用(各自でご用意下さい)と、教室に入る前に皆様には手指の消毒にご協力お願い致します(こちらで消毒の準備致します)。レッスン中は換気の為窓や扉を開けて行う予定なので寒いかもしれないので上着または暖かい格好でいらしてください。なお、少しでも体調の悪いお子様、またはご家族の中に体調の悪い方がいる場合はレッスンをご遠慮頂きますようお願い致します。
なお、第1週目の休講分を振替え希望の方は個人LINEでスタッフに希望日をお知らせください。振替えない場合はレッスン代の返金を致しますが、現金で返金または次のお月謝に充てるかご希望方法をレッスン当日にスタッフにお知らせ下さい。
元気な皆様とまたアートを通して楽しく一緒に考えながらお勉強ができる日をスタッフ一同心から楽しみにお待ちしております。

Dear parents,

I hope this update finds you all very well. After much thought and consideration over the current situation we have decided to stay on the safe side and delay re-opening the school for another week. As are you all, we are also anxious to get back to our regular lives but hold the well-being of our students and families as our top priority during this difficult time.

for the months of April and May. We have moved a missed week from March into the April schedule and will provide weekly updates through LINE as to when we will reopen.

Both of our schools are large well-ventilated spaces with comfortable class sizes. We will provide a safe and clean environment with hand sanitizers on entry, pre-cleaned surfaces and open windows. We are closely monitoring the situation and following advice from the government and leading health authorities, will update you as soon as possible on changes.

Thank you so much for your patience. We look forward to seeing you all again and can't wait to get back to a great program providing our students with a fun, creative and engaging place to learn and grow!!

As promised here are some photos of our 2019 Halloween Week in Hatagaya and Koyodai! Students created magnetic ghosts of famous painters, sculptors and inventors from art history and went fishing to catch ghosts! Spooky!
