Did you know that saying “goodbye” 👋 in Japanese with the word “sayounara”essentially means you don’t think you’ll ever see the person again? It’s like saying “See you in the next life” or “see you never”. The Japanese rarely use it unless they’re breaking up with each other or someone’s on their deathbed!
