先日、約20年前に長沼スクールで日本語を学ばれていた卒業生の方が、
学校を訪ねてくださいました。

シンガポールご出身で、現在はアメリカにお住まいとのことです。
「最近は日本語を話す機会がなく、もう忘れてしまいました」とお話しされていましたが、
実際には、当時の先生とも日本語でスムーズに会話をされていました。

卒業生の方々が、卒業から長い年月が経ってもこのように学校を思い出し、
足を運んでくださることは、私たちにとっての大きな喜びの一つです。

Recently, a former student who studied Japanese at The Naganuma School about 20 years ago visited our campus.

Originally from Singapore and now residing in the United States, they mentioned,
“I haven’t had many opportunities to speak Japanese recently, so I’ve probably forgotten most of it.”
However, in reality, they were able to converse smoothly in Japanese with their former teacher.

It brings us great joy that our alumni continue to remember the school and take the time to visit us, even many years after graduation.

昨日、2026年春学期のオリエンテーションを行いました。

校内の桜もまだきれいに咲く中、新入生の皆さんをお迎えできたことをうれしく思います。

皆さんの笑顔からは、これから始まる新しい生活への期待が感じられ、

今回も、日本とドイツの比較を通した「妖怪」「ごみの処理方法」「金曜夜の過ごし方」など、バラエティに富んだテーマが取り上げられました。

各グループとも、ユーモアを交えた発表を披露してくれたため、思わず授業であることを忘れて室内が笑いに包まれる場面も見られました。

皆さん、日本語での表現力が着実に伸びていますね！
次回のプレゼンテーションもとても楽しみです。

Last week, we conducted a presentation class as part of one of The Naganuma School’s special courses.

This time as well, a variety of topics were presented, including yokai (Japanese folklore creatures), waste management, and how people spend Friday nights, all explored through comparisons between Japan and Germany.

Each group delivered engaging presentations with a touch of humor, and there were moments when the room was filled with laughter, making us forget it was even a class.

Everyone is steadily improving their ability to express themselves in Japanese.
We are already looking forward to the next presentations.

先学期、コミュニケーション日本語コースの校外活動で、水族館の見学に行きました。

日本は海に囲まれた国であり、日常的に海の生き物に触れる機会もありますが、
海のない国から来られた留学生の皆さんは、どのような印象を持たれたでしょうか。

今回の見学が、皆さんにとって楽しい思い出となっていればうれしく思います。

Last term, students from the Communication Japanese Course visited an aquarium as part of an off-campus activity.

Japan is a country surrounded by the sea, and there are many opportunities to encounter marine life in daily life.
We wonder what impressions it made on students coming from countries without access to the sea.

We hope this visit became a fun and memorable experience for everyone.

2026年3月24日（火）、2025年度冬学期の卒業式を執り行いました。

式は、進学コース、ならびにビジネス日本語コース・コミュニケーション日本語コースのそれぞれで時間を設け、多くの学生の門出をお祝いすることができました。

今学期は約160名の学生が本校を巣立ち、それぞれの新たなステージへと歩みを進めていきます。
式当日は、達成感に満ちた笑顔があふれ、これまでの努力と成長が感じられるひとときとなりました。

これからも、それぞれの目標に向かって挑戦を続けていってほしいと願っています。
教職員一同、皆さんの今後のご活躍を心より応援しています。

そして、またいつでも気軽に学校に顔を見せに来てください。
皆さんに再会できる日を楽しみにしています！

On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, we held the graduation ceremony for the Winter Term of the 2025 academic year.

The ceremony was organized in separate sessions for the University Preparation Course, as well as the Business Japanese Course and the Japanese for Communication Course, allowing us to celebrate the achievements and new beginnings of many students.

This term, approximately 160 students graduated from our school and are now moving forward to the next stages of their journeys. On the day of the ceremony, the venue was filled with smiles of accomplishment, reflecting the hard work and growth each student has achieved.

We sincerely hope that all of you will continue striving toward your individual goals. All of our faculty and staff are cheering you on and wishing you continued success in your future endeavors.

Please feel free to visit the school anytime—we would be delighted to see you again. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future！

長沼スクールのビジネス日本語コースでは、
定期的にビジネスの現場で活躍されている方をお招きし、特別講義を行っています。

今回は、群馬大学や青山学院大学などで教鞭をとられている先生をお迎えし、
プロジェクトマネジメントや「段取り」についてお話しいただきました。
計画を円滑に進めるための考え方や、
成果を出すための視点など、実践的なお話が印象的な講義でした。
また、講義はワークショップ形式で行われ、
学生のみなさんも楽しみながら積極的に参加している様子が見られました。

こうした経験を通して、日本の企業文化への理解が深まると同時に、
将来の実務にもつながる力が少しずつ身についていくようであれば何よりです。

At Naganuma School’s Business Japanese Course,
we regularly invite professionals from the business world to deliver special lectures.

This time, we welcomed a lecturer who teaches at institutions such as Gunma University and Aoyama Gakuin University,
who spoke about project management and dandori (planning and preparation).

The lecture was particularly insightful, covering practical approaches to keeping projects running smoothly,
as well as key perspectives for achieving results.

The session was conducted in a workshop format,
and it was great to see students actively participating while enjoying the experience.

Through these opportunities, we hope that students will deepen their understanding of Japanese business culture
and gradually develop skills that will support them in their future careers.

先日、授業時間外に、コミュニケーション日本語コースの学生同士で、日本語で会話をする時間を設けました。

普段は先生が各グループに入り、学生のみなさんと一緒に会話をしますが、今回は学生のみなさんだけでグループに分かれて、日本語で話してみるスタイルで行いました。
最初に先生が用意したテーマをもとに少し話題を考え、その後、会話を始めるという流れです。

先生がすぐ近くにいない状況で、みなさんが日本語で話すのか少し気になっていましたが、
結果的にどのグループもとても盛り上がり、楽しそうに日本語で話していました！

長沼スクールには日本語で話すのが好きな学生が多いことを、改めて実感しました。
授業以外でも、日本語を使う時間を楽しんでくれていることをうれしく思います。

Recently, we set aside some time outside of class for students in the Japanese Communication Course to practice speaking Japanese with each other.

Usually, teachers join each group and chat together with the students. This time, however, the students were divided into groups and tried having conversations in Japanese on their own. First, they thought about a few ideas based on topics prepared by the teacher, and then began their conversations.

Since the teacher was not right next to them, we were a little curious to see whether everyone would continue speaking in Japanese…
In fact, every group became very lively, and the students were happily chatting in Japanese!

This experience reminded us once again that many students at Naganuma School truly enjoy speaking Japanese.
We are very happy to see them enjoying opportunities to use Japanese not only in class, but outside of class as well.

ひな祭りのイベントとして、校内で甘酒をふるまいました。

今回用意した甘酒にはアルコールが含まれていないため、多くの学生のみなさんに安心して楽しんでもらえました。

「初めて飲みました」という声も多く聞かれ、 「甘いお米みたいですね」「ショウガの香りがします」など、さまざまな感想が寄せられました。
（今回はショウガ入りの甘酒を用意しました）

今回のイベントを通して、日本語を勉強中のみなさんに、日本の季節の行事を少しでも楽しく、身近に感じてもらえたらうれしく思います。

As part of our Hinamatsuri celebration, we served amazake on campus.

The amazake we prepared for this event was non-alcoholic, allowing many of our students to enjoy it with peace of mind.

We heard many students say, “It’s my first time trying this!”
We also received a variety of comments such as, “It tastes like sweet rice,” and “I can smell the ginger.”
(For this event, we prepared amazake with ginger.)

Through this event, we hope that our students studying Japanese were able to enjoy and feel a little closer to Japan’s seasonal traditions.
