Blizzard of 2026. Central Park was a Winter Wonderland!
Thankfully the snow melted quickly and everyone did a pretty great job of clearing the sidewalks. By the time I got back from teaching later in the evening everything was somewhat cleared although the cross streets are still slushy. So much better than the ice we had after the last snow storm. While the snowfall looked pretty magical, I’m over it. Who else is ready for Spring?

Flashback to 2016…I was working in Publishing but moonlighting in Fitness and clearly that’s where I was supposed to be. IG yoga challenges were everywhere and I jumped on that big time. I started taking classes and eventually started teaching at a boutique studio in the East Village which reignited my love of the ocean (grateful for my Ohana). Took an incredible family trip to Hawaii (first time back with the hubby since our honeymoon but this time taking the kids) and a memorable solo trip to Malta. The Summit in Baltimore was by far one of my favorite fitness summits ever. Grateful for the memories, the places I visited and long to return to, the people I spent time with and those that remain an important part of my life and the person I’ve become since then.

Land of the Rising Sun 🇯🇵
We were welcomed by a beautiful sunrise while we were waiting for our connecting flight when we first landed in Tokyo. Woke up to another stunner yesterday morning in Ishigaki. There’s nothing like a gorgeous sunrise to start your day!

Surfing is the great equalizer. It doesn’t matter who you are and what you look like. When you surf you don’t think about the past or the present. It requires you to live in the moment and take nothing for granted. It teaches you to be humble and gives you an appreciation for our ocean waters. It’s one of the hardest things you’ll ever do but it will also give you the greatest high. It’s like a magic carpet ride that makes you feel so alive! Happy International Surfing Day!
