Shindo Karate Altona Meadows Dojo

It’s that time again!
Shindo Karate Altona Meadows Tournament, will be held on the 5th of September!
This event is for everyone, from Ninjas to Seniors. We encourage every student to enter.
FORMS MUST BE HANDED IN BY 19th of AUGUST 8:30pm. No exceptions.

Details regarding time of events will be published closer to the date.

Sun 28th June: Gradings (Altona Stadium)
Mon 29th June: NO CLASSES
Wed 1st July: NO CLASSES
Wed 8th July: NO CLASSES
Please be aware all other classes will be running as normal during school holidays

Attention all parents!! This is a once time offer! Monday 15th of June we are holding a special Senior’s class where you can come along and try karate out for yourself!

This is an excellent opportunity to get moving, connect with your kids, make some friends and invest in your self!

It’s a 1 hour no pressure session. 7-8pm at QoP. You have nothing to lose! Enjoy it? Sign up at the end of the session and receive a free uniform!!
All you have to do is rock up night of, bring a friend if you wish, and be ready for fun!

CONGRATULATIONS to our newest sempais and 1st Dans. Over the weekend we had Alizah, Oliver, Liam, Lucas, Kunwar and Alfie all become the newest Sempais of Altona Meadows! Along side we had Sempai Jeff, Sempai Luca and Sempai Logan all receive their 1st Dan
Amazing effort and achievement to all 👏👏

Yesterday we celebrated 30 years of Shindo Karate. That’s right 30 years ago Shihan Vince along side Shihan Wayne, Shihan Ray and Shihan Phil started our amazing club.
We had a beautiful day sharing old memories and making new ones with friends from across our whole club. What an amazing day. Can’t wait for the next 30 years of Shindo to come!

Hard work and dedication is how you become the best karateka possible.
Having high slow kicks is hard, but what is harder is keeping that strength and level. Eliza coming to training every week is what’s allowed for her consistent improvement over her multiple years at shindo 💪🏻

And the count down has started until we are back for 2026!
Just a reminder that all classes will resume as normal on the 31st of January. See you all then :)
