Two personal seals created especially for Stefanie during her visit to Japan.
One seal features a single hiragana character, “すsu.”
The other represents her nickname, “Steffy,” expressed in carefully selected kanji that reflect both sound and meaning.
At Shodo Japan, all kanji name designs are completely original.
We prioritize natural Japanese pronunciation, ease of writing in kaisho, gyosho, and sosho styles, as well as balance when carved as a seal, the meanings of the characters, and stroke count.
Along with the finished seals, we also provide a written explanation of the kanji meanings and the design concept behind each character.

来日されたStefanieのために制作した、ふたつの印。
ひとつは、ひらがなの「す」一文字。
もうひとつは、Stefanieの愛称「ステフィー」を、意味や響きを大切にして漢字で表しました。
書道ジャパンでは、お名前の当て字はすべてオリジナルで考案しています。
楷・行・草で書きやすいことはもちろん、印にした時の字配り、漢字の意味、画数を踏まえ、日本語として自然に読めることを最優先にしています。
完成した印とともに、
漢字の意味や、どのような文字が彫られているかの説明書きも添えてお渡ししました。
