Seta International School

Seta International School is a private preschool located in Tokyo, Japan. We also offer extended programs to serve the English needs of our community.

In order to develop and maintain a strong balance between body and mind, we believe that giving children a variety of age appropriate activities is most important. Some schools tend to focus heavily on the academic development of our children. However, among children who only excel in studies like language or math, few may actually grow up to become high-level achievers. Furthermore, what is most

important at this stage of their childhood is enhancing the child's emotional, physical and social aptitudes and enabling them to have a curriculum that is specifically suited to match their age group. We believe that children are like flowers about to bloom, and each one of them will fully blossom depending on each child's individual developmental pace. Seta International School will provide practical education which focuses on balancing the mind and body for your child's current developmental needs through our unique curriculum.

🦃"A Day of Giving Thanks"🦃
We celebrated Thanksgiving day with our annual Thanksgiving Feast today! Thank you to all the parents for the donations today. Everyone had a wonderful time eating together! We are grateful and thankful for your support! Happy Thanksgiving! 😃

🎃"Happy Halloween!"🎃

Our school was filled with many cute characters today. They bravely went on the trick-or-treating! We even carved a pumpkin as a class!

"Our Field Trip to the Post Office"
We went on a fun field trip to the post office today. The students were amazed to see how fast the machine could sort the mails. They even got to buy stamps and mail their own letters to their family!

"Fire Station Visit"
We were so lucky to be able to go to the field trip to the local fire station today. The students were very excited to meet the fire fighters and learn how they practice and get themselves ready to go rescue! Thank you, fire fighters for keeping us safe!

"Evacuation Drill"

The students learned how to be safe at school in case of emergency. They practiced "Rabbits in a Hole" (Earthquake Safety Procedures) and practiced an evacuation in case of fire at school.

"Water Balloon Fun!"

The Summer is over and autumn is getting closer, but it still has been very hot outside. It was especially hot today, so the children had so much fun playing with the water balloons in the pool.

"Rainy Day Origami Activity"

The rainy season has finally started in Tokyo. Today was a wet, wet day. The children had a special Japanese class and learned how to fold pretty origami umbrellas for the season! 😉☔️
