Kids grow up so fast these days. It felt like yesterday when Yushi first joined our school in 2016 as a 6th grade elementary school student.

In today’s Junior high class we studied about the difference between “I will” and “I am going to”.

It was difficult at first, but eventually we learned that:

“I will” is to express that you have made a decision in the moment.

“I am going to” is to express that you intend to do something that you have already decided.

P.S. The students also taught me Kanji lol
I know how to write 食べる and 飲む now!

We gave each of our students a daifuku as a welcome back present. Some of the flavors were mango, strawberry milk, chocolate banana, and Hokkaido melon.

The shop was only available for a limited time at JR Ibaraki Station. We hope everyone enjoyed it :)
