Going on a flavor-packed journey in Osaka at Namba Okonomiyaki Ajinoya Honten, where patience was key with a 90-minute wait, but … were we happy or disappointed in the end?

Starting with the Set B menu of 3 items 1) mixed okonomiyaki, 2) yaki soba, and 3) negiyaki for 4200 yen (approximately $38 USD), we couldn’t resist adding the garlic grilled scallops, each bite was naturally sweet and tender!

Listed in the Michelin and other well known food guides, every dish was a truly excellent in a homey way! 🍲✨

Got a special invitation to HomeBurg to try one of .buff delicious burgers 🍔. He came all the way from New Jersey and served these delicious burgers for only a few days.

You also have to try the light and creamy cheese cake dessert by Chef Taiki. One of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever tasted. It has Gruyère and Camembert in it ❤️❤️❤️

The BEST + BIGGEST Fish & Chips I’ve ever eaten. The fish filet was so fresh and and went perfectly with the garlic, truffle fries and a cold lager beer the price was very reasonable too and the quality was top notch. If you ever visit Galway Ireland you have to visit this restaurant.

The mixed seafood linguine was excellent too. Simple, fresh and delicious

LISTEN to the grilled dry aged T-bone steak 🥩 sizzling IT was SOOO good and simply grilled and served on a hot sizzling plate. It was served medium rare and was more than enough for 2 people. This restaurant was highly recommended by our Airbnb host and is what you would typically find in the Basque country here in Bilbao Spain. Basque culture is influenced by the neighboring communities and the excellent produce from the sea and the land.

Best pistachio ice cream I’ve ever had. The soft serve Lebanese ice cream topped with lots of crushed pistachio nuts and whipped cream make it a perfect treat. has a few locations around Paris. So yummy 😋!

My first Port wine 🍷 tasting a White, Ruby, and Tawny port. The steep, terraced vineyards are so beautiful by the Douro River and the vineyard has over 100 hectares of vines which are 100 years old. They have been making wine at the UNESCO Douro Valley region for over 2000 years. A 1.5 hour drive from Porto and worth visiting for the day.
