We had a wonderful reunion today 💙✨

From OBM Japanese Culture Course to university, and now to a career supporting international students — it was wonderful to catch up with our graduate today.

He gave a talk about part-time jobs to the new students who joined us this April.
We haven’t seen him in 4 years, and we couldn’t believe the change 😳‼️
He has become such a professional.

It was wonderful to see him speaking so confidently and reliably to the new students. 😉✨✨
He truly wanted to help his juniors. That kind of heart is everything 🫶🏽🫰🏽

大学進学・卒業を経て、
現在は留学生を支援する企業で活躍している
卒業生が来校してくれました🏫

今回は、4月に入学したばかりの新入生に向けて
「アルバイト」についてのガイダンスを担当。

彼に会うのは約4年ぶりでしたが、
その変貌ぶりに正直びっくり😳‼️

学生時代からさらに磨きがかかり、
自信を持って後輩たちに語りかける姿は、
本当に頼もしかったです😉✨✨

「後輩たちの力になりたい」という想いで
戻ってきてくれたことが、何より嬉しい！

これからは社会人として、

Speak Your Heart - OBM Speech Contest 🔥

The First Big School Event of 2026 — OBM Speech Contest! 🎤✨

This year, a total of 14 students shared their thoughts and emotions about relationships, studies and achievements in Japan.

Watching the students speak so confidently on stage, the teachers were reminded of the anxious faces from their first days in Japan — and the contrast brought warm smiles to their faces 😊

The audience cheered loudly, with some even coming up to the front to present flowers and gifts. The atmosphere felt almost like a fan meeting, and the venue was filled with laughter and excitement.😆

You cheered from the audience this year — next year, you’ll be the ones on stage! 🚀

今年は計14名の学生が、日頃の成果を披露してくれました。

ステージで堂々と話す姿を見ながら、入学当時の不安そうな表情を思い出し、先生方は満面の笑顔でした😊
応援するみんなも大声でエールを送ったり、ステージ前まで行ってプレゼントや花束を渡したりと、会場は大盛り上がり！🔥

Biotech Experiment

Today the biotech teacher showed our international students how experiments are done 🧪🔬

We made our own toner with a micropipette, which can measure even tiny amounts of liquid accurately.

The main ingredients are Japanese sake and purified water! 😳
Fun fact: sake can do wonders for your skin 😍

With the teacher’s guidance, all the students skillfully used the micropipette.

OBM is home to many biotech experts 🧬🦠

Who knows – our Japanese language students could become the biotech experts of tomorrow too 🧪✨

少量の液体でも正確に測り取ることのできるマイクロピペットを使って、
化粧水を作りました。

材料は日本酒や精製水など！
なんと日本酒はお肌に良い成分がいろいろ入っているんです😳

先生の説明を聞きながら、
上手にマイクロピペットを使っていました！

obmには、バイオ分野のスペシャリストの先生がたくさんいます！

今の日本語学科の学生さんから、未来のバイオ技術者が出てくるかも！？！？

ミャンマー出身で、今は大阪で日本語を勉強しています。

obmに通い始めてから、毎日が新しい発見でとても楽しいです。
先生やクラスメートも優しくて、学校に行くのが楽しみです。

今年の夏休みに、「鬼滅の刃」の映画を友達と一緒に見ました。

とても感動して、涙が出そうになりました。
アニメの世界に入ったみたいで楽しかったです。

4月にネパールから来て、

7月25日、学校のあと、
中国とミャンマーのクラスメイトと一緒に
天神祭の花火大会に行きました🎇

浴衣姿の日本人が集まる賑わいと、
夜空に広がる花火のきらびやかさが本当に素敵で、
夢のような時間でした✨

友達と3時間楽しんで、ちょっと疲れたけど、
忘れられない夏の思い出になりました🎐💖
