Our 4th and 5th grade AAPS students created podcasts during Quarter 4! They chose topics of interest, conducted research, wrote scripts, created logos, chose intro music, and recorded their podcasts. Fourth grade went on a field trip to Churaumi Aquarium, where they learned about sea life around the world, explored the touch tanks, and viewed a variety of animals!

Good evening, Pacific South District families.

We are currently in TCCOR 2. While in TCCOR 2, all Pacific South District schools plan to operate following our normal schedules on Monday, 01 June 2026.

We are working closely with our installation partners to monitor weather conditions. Should TCCOR 1 be declared before 0500, school will be closed for all students and school level staff. We will inform families and staff as soon as possible of changes.

We encourage individuals to continue monitoring weather updates and follow installation guidance.

Current weather forecasts indicate Okinawa may experience its first typhoon of the season early next week.

We wanted to take this opportunity to remind families how DoWEA school operations are impacted at Tropical Cyclone Conditions of Readiness (TCCOR) 1, 1C, 1E, 1R and Storm Watch. DoWEA Pacific South District communicates changes to school operations in partnership with the installations we serve.
