楽しい夏休みを過ごせたでしょうか？🌞🍉
I＆Tクラスのサマースクールでは小麦粉粘土やスライムを触ったり、新聞紙を細かくちぎってプールの中に入れて一緒に入ったり、氷で固まった動物や虫たちを救出したりといつもと違う体験に子どもたちも大喜びでした！
夏休みが終わり、今月はAction words(Flying、Crawing、Twilingなど)について歌や動きを通して学びました！子どもたちはI can flyと言って動きを見せてくれました！🐦
涼しい日には、砂場や園庭で夢中で遊び、久しぶりの外遊びを楽しみました🎵
カナダのカルチャーデーではカナダ出身の先生をお迎えし、集中して先生のお話しに耳を傾けていました！
来月からは二学期が始まりますね。二学期はNumeracy day、International halloween party、Winter partyと行事が盛りだくさんです！みんなと楽しい時間を過ごせることを楽しみにしています💓

Did you all have a fun summer break? 🌞🍉
During summer school, the I&T class had so much fun with special hands-on activities! They touched flour dough and slime, swam in a pool filled with shredded newspaper, and saved frozen animals and insects from ice blocks!
After the break, we learned Action Words like flying, crawling, and twirling through songs and movement! The kids proudly showed off their moves, saying, ”I can fly!“ 🐦
On cooler days, everyone happily played outdoors, building sandcastles and running around the playground!
We also had a Canada Culture Day! The children listened so attentively as a teacher from Canada shared cool stories with us.
Term 2 is just around the corner, packed with fun events like Numeracy Day, an International Halloween Party, and a Winter Party! We can‘t wait to make more wonderful memories together! 💓

🌻7月のKinderクラス🌻
7月はBuddy ReadingやShow & Tell, Exhibitionなどたくさんの活動を楽しみました。
お友だちと協力したり、自分の思いを伝えたりと、一人ひとりが様々なことに挑戦し、大きく成長した1ヶ月でした。子どもたちの笑顔や「できた!」という達成感がとても印象的でした。
保護者の皆さま、いつも温かいご理解とご協力をありがとうございます。

The children took on so many wonderful challenges—learning to work together and share their thoughts with friends. Everyone grew so much this month! Seeing their bright smiles and hearing their proud ”I did it!“ moments was truly unforgettable.

岡山イオンモールへ、Preschoolクラスで楽しいプチ遠足に行ってきました！🌟

子どもたちはペットショップでかわいい動物たちを見学し、七夕の短冊に願いごとも書きました。🎋✨

好奇心や創造力、そしてたくさんの笑顔にあふれた、楽しい一日となりました！💛

Our Preschool class had a wonderful short field trip to AEON Mall Okayama! 🌟 The children visited a pet shop, enjoyed seeing the adorable animals, and made their own Tanabata wishes. 🎋✨ It was a fun day filled with curiosity, creativity, and smiles! 💛

🌴🇯🇲 Jamaica Culture Day 🇯🇲🌴
6月26日、AIS Okayamaではジャマイカ・カルチャーデーを開催しました！
今回は、ジャマイカ大使館よりゲストスピーカーをZoomでお迎えし、ジャマイカの魅力についてご紹介いただきました。
子どもたちは、

プレゼンテーションの後には、クイズコーナーやQ&Aタイムも行われ、子どもたちは積極的に質問をしたり、お話をしたりしながらジャマイカについて理解を深めることができました。

On June 26, AIS Okayama celebrated Jamaica Culture Day with a very special guest speaker from the Jamaican Embassy, who joined us online via Zoom.

GWの素敵な思い出と共に元気に登園してくれたPreKクラスのみんな！ 今月は、暑い中Sports Dayの練習をとてもよく頑張ってくれました。そして本番では、みんなの輝く笑顔が見られる素敵な1日となりました！

Inquiry Timeには、Friendshipについて学び始めました Unfriendly・Friendlyな関わり方、そしてお友達との関係性などを様々なアクティビティから学びました。PKクラスで様々なことを学びながら過ごす中で、さらにお友達との絆を強く深めていってくれるといいなと思います！
Our Pre-K children returned to school full of energy and wonderful memories from Golden Week! ☀️✨
This month, they worked incredibly hard practicing for Sports Day despite the warm weather. On the big day, it was truly heartwarming to see their bright smiles shining throughout the event. It was a very special day for everyone! 🏅💖
During Inquiry Time, we began learning about Friendship. Through a variety of activities, the children explored the differences between friendly and unfriendly behaviors, as well as how to build positive relationships with their friends. 🤝✨
As they continue learning and growing together in the Pre-K class, we hope they will deepen their friendships even further and create many more happy memories along the way! 🌈💕
