The purpose of Eigo Lingo is to connect English learners with English tutors from around the world. No formal training is required.

Looking for 7-9 tutors.
All applicants are welcomed.
No location requirement (anywhere in the world is fine)
*Thursday 3:50pm-4:20pm
*Thursday 4:25pm-4:55pm
*Times given are in Japanese Standard Time (JST)
Requirements for applicants:
A Skype account or Zoom account.
Reliability!!
Great/reliable internet connection.
Computer/laptop (NO tablets or phones unless an emergency)
We**am.
Microphone/headset.
Good lighting.
A presentable location that has low-to-no background noise. (Background filters are okay, too)
Understanding of how to use Skype or Zoom proficiently (we**am, messaging, filters, screen sharing)
The pay rate varies slightly depending on qualifications.
Payments will be made once a month at the beginning of the following month.
Payments will only be made through PayPal or Japanese Bank Transfers (Japan Post, Oita Bank, Howa Bank).

If you happen to have a background in the medical world, be it a nurse, doctor, or other, please message me. I am looking for an online English tutor for some medical workers. You must be familiar with medical terminology.
A certain level of Japanese is preferred but may not be necessary.
For the time being, this will be an online opportunity but after things have settled with the coronavirus this may transition to an in-person position.

This page is dedicated to finding online English tutors that will work one-on-one with some young Japanese learners.

Native English speakers are preferred but not a necessity. If you a non-native English speaker then you must be fluent with clear pronunciation. If you have a slight understanding of Japanese or are fluent, that is a plus but also not a necessity.

These positions are being advertised worldwide! Any and all are welcome.
No age limits either!

If you'd like to be considered for a backup position please be sure to mention it.

Payments will be sent through PayPal, or if you are in Japan a bank transfer is also possible through an Oita bank (Howa, Oita, Mirai), or through Japan Post Bank.
