A group of lucky NIC students are currently joining the annual UCL - Japan Youth Challenge at Cambridge University and University College London!

This year's theme is "UCL 200 – Legacies of Learning, Futures We Create Together", which celebrates the 200th anniversary of University College London. During the first half of the event, our students stayed at Jesus College and visited Hughes Hall College to attend lectures from Cambridge University professors on neuroscience, geopolitics, and technology in education, among other topics. After some sightseeing in Cambridge, they headed off to the second half of the programme at UCL in London. We can't wait to hear about what these students have learned after the summer break!

Our participants had a great time making new friends, learning about Japanese culture, experiencing dormitory life, and attending case lessons. We hope to see some familiar faces again at next year's Summer Camp or even as future NIC students!

Congratulations to the NUCB International College Class of 2026!

As our second cohort of graduates, these 36 individuals have helped shape our NIC community and are an inspiration to their juniors. It has been a privilege to watch these students grow and embody NIC's values - integrity, kindness, resilience, and leadership.

We are extremely proud of the remarkable amount of work they have put in over the past 3 years and the impressive results they have achieved. Collectively, these students have received an amazing 61 offers from QS World Top 100 universities, 23 of which were offers from prestigious schools ranked in the Top 30. As a school, we are honoured to have helped these students reach their full potential.

Last Saturday, the long-awaited TEDxNIC Youth event was held at NUCB Business School's Nagoya Marunouchi Tower Campus!

Under the theme of "The Ripple Effect", this independently organized TEDx event explored how small ideas can create powerful changes. There was a wide variety of guest speakers, including CEOs, aspiring innovators, and some of our own NIC students. To see the full list of guest speakers, check out .

This event was organised as a CAS Project, an important part of the IB Diploma Programme curriculum. A CAS Project is a collaborative project that must involve at least one CAS component (Creativity, Activity, or Service).

Congratulations to the TEDxNIC Youth team for putting on such an impressive event!

Sharing is caring! 💖 Our youngest NIC students spent a lovely Sunday night getting creative with a fun canapé-making activity. From spreading, layering, and decorating (and sneaking little bites here and there 😋), it was all about group effort, connection, and a little bit of delicious chaos! Even better than making them was sharing their tasty creations with other students afterwards.

Moments like these with friends are one of the best parts of boarding life, and our students truly enjoy making memories together.

A big thank you to all the BP students who joined the night, and a huge shoutout to Year 12 Daven for kindly whipping up the perfect whipped cream for everyone!
