To prepare for this year’s summer camp, I spent Sunday on an overnight trip to make reservations for the lodging, city hall, the stream fishing spot, and the barbecue area.

Starting next week, we’ll begin recruiting participants for the summer camp, and once we’ve arranged the express train tickets, we’ll be in the clear.

今年の夏合宿の打ち合わせのため、日曜日から1泊で宿泊地、市役所、渓流釣り場とBBQ場の予約手続きを行なって来ました。

来週より夏合宿の参加者を募集して、特急列車の手配が終われば一段落です。

I stamped the certificates (3rd kyu and above) for the students who passed the recent grading exam.
It’s been about 40 years since my father’s time… I’ve been stamping certificates all this time, but I still get nervous when it comes to dan-level certificates, especially since they require a special seal! 😅

先日の審査会で合格したお弟子さん達の免状(3級以上)に押印しました。
父の代からかれこれ40年... 押印してきましたが、特に段位の免状は割り印もあるので緊張しますね⁈😅

Yesterday, the first joint grading session of the year for the Kenchōkai was held at the Adachi Ward General Sports Centre.
Around 40 candidates from various branches gathered to demonstrate the results of their training, and the performances were generally of a high standard.
There were several candidates who performed with such remarkable intensity that even we instructors were deeply impressed; in fact, it made me feel a renewed sense of determination.

昨日は今年度初の拳昌会合同審査会が開催されました。
各支部より約40名の受審者が集まり日頃の稽古の成果を披露して概ね良い出来栄えでした。
中には素晴らしい気迫で演武する受審者が数名いて私達指導者も身が引き締まる思いでした。
