数年前、小島さんが私のところに来て、ここ新潟の大学を卒業した後、カナダで理学療法士として働きたいという夢を語ってくれたのを覚えています。その夢が今、ついに実現し、私は彼を心から誇りに思います！彼の歩んできた道のりは本当に感動的で、ぜひ皆さんにもシェアしたいと思いました。
現在、多くの日本人学生たちが小島さんの足跡をたどっています。私の最大の願いは、彼らの成功物語をいつか聞くことです！
Not too long ago, Mr. Kojima shared his dream with me—to work in Canada as a physiotherapist after graduating from a university here in Niigata. Today, that dream is now a reality, and I couldn’t be prouder of him! His journey is nothing short of inspiring, and I couldn’t resist sharing it with all of you.
Now, I see many of my Japanese students following in Mr. Kojima’s footsteps, and my greatest hope is to celebrate their success stories one day too!
【SHUTA KOJIMA (Shaun), Physiotherapy Resident who is also a physiotherapist in Japan】
We’re excited to welcome Shuta Kojima (Shaun) to Team J.CARE! Starting January 24th, Shaun will be available for physiotherapy treatments on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Born and raised in Nagano, Japan, Shaun holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from Niigata. With experience as a licensed physiotherapist in Japan, he has worked in rehabilitation hospitals and conducted research into injury mechanisms using advanced motion capture technology. His passion for global healthcare grew through international clinical programs across Asia and North America, inspiring his move to Ontario.
Shaun specializes in sports and movement science, offering tailored care through manual therapy, soft-tissue release, and personalized exercise programs to improve flexibility, stability, and strength. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or seeking to enhance performance, Shaun will work closely with you to achieve your goals.
