Cases for Young Myanmar Pathology Society - Campas Challenging histology and cytology cases monthly uploaded from Nagasaki by PEME trainees

The Nagasaki Educational and Diagnostic Center of Pathology is excited to introduce a new social platform to facilitate pathology education between Japan and Myanmar. For the last two years, Myanmarese pathologist had the opportunity to travel to Japanese laboratories with support from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) under the Project of Enhancement of Medical Education (PEME). F

or the remaining years of the project, we intend to build on a continuous and user-driven education platform which can be accessed easily from mobile devices connected to the internet. PEME trainees who are currently in Japan for their 3-month training will upload and share interesting cases with their friends and colleagues back home using Digital Pathology. The Myanmarese pathology society, especially the young pathologists have the opportunity to learn and discuss surgical histology, small biopsies, cytology and other unusual cases with their seniors training in Japan. We would like to extend our warm appreciation and gratitude to the JICA and Nagasaki University, Nagasaki Educational and Diagnostic Center of Pathology for their support and facilitating this educational project, we expect young Myanmarese pathologists to collaborate and think together with us.
