Happy New Year! Term 3 has started with a rush of excitement, plenty of things to create, and lots and lots of love in the atmosphere. Not to mention but we are continuously taking measures against infections diseases.

Today is the last day of Term2. Afternoon Program has ended for the year as well. Next week will be only open to those who have applied for the special daycare.
BKI will reopen on January 11, 2021.

AVAILABLE FROM OCTOBER 2020 (1 YEAR CONTRACT)

Our toddlers teacher is pregnant and will be taking a year off after her baby is born. We are looking for someone to fill this position until she returns.

Kindergarten/English Teacher. Toddlers Class: Full time (8.30 am- 5.30/6.30 pm) Visa Sponsorship is available. (Applicant must already be in Japan) Transportation costs to work paid and four weeks (+) of paid holidays per year. We can help with accommodation. Salary is 250 000 yen per month (plus benefits) (FT). The start date is October 1st 2020. The right candidate is expected to stay for a year. English MUST be fluent. Some of the following skills could also prove to be beneficial: An aptitude in music, art or theatre. The ability to speak Japanese or a certification in CPR. Qualifications and experience in Child Care (保育士免許、看護師免許) or related fields will be most highly regarded.

Part time work between 9.00am and 2.00pm may also be available.

Today was our biggest summer event “Tanabata Festival”. Everyone wore Jinbei or Yukawa to school and learned what Tanabata is all about. Each children wrote their wishes on a “Tanabata Strip (Tanzaku)” and tied them up on the bamboo branch. Hope for many of the wishes do come true.

今日は夏最大のイベントである七夕をお祝いしました。みんな甚平や浴衣を着て登園して七夕についての説明を受けた後、短冊に願い事を書いて笹にくくりつけました。多くの願い事が叶いますように☆

It has been a while since our last post. BKI Preschool had been temporarily closed due to the spread of COVID-19 in Tokyo. However we have reopened from June 1, 2020, since the emergency declaration has been called off. The school routine has some what changed, but BKI children have already adapted and we are hearing a lot of cute giggles from here and there. We thank you all for your understanding and the support that we have received from parents, guardians, and people within the community.

久しぶりの投稿になります。臨時休園期間を経て2020年6月1日より感染症対策を継続しながら再開いたしました。以前とは少し違う園生活にも慣れ沢山の笑い声で溢れる毎日が戻ってまいりました。保護者の皆様、地域の方々のご理解ご協力に心より感謝しております。
