In an electrifying show of unbreakable unity and unwavering loyalty, sons and daughters of Mankon, joined by friends of the fondom across Cameroon and the diaspora, stormed Saturday’s ceremony to present a majestic, brand-new 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado J250 to His Royal Majesty Fo Angwafo IV. Valued at 75-85 million FCFA, this is more than a gift — it is a coronation on wheels.

Orchestrated by the Mankon Cultural and Development Association (MACUDA), this historic offering thunders with one message: Mankon stands firm behind its throne. It is a bold declaration of absolute trust in our king and the sacred institution he embodies.

As Fo Angwafo IV received the Prado, his voice rang out with power and vision. He thanked his people and charged them to channel this same energy into building Mankon’s future — demanding greater investment in education and healthcare as the true legacy of our generation.

This Prado is not measured in millions. It is forged from the bloodline that connects Mankon sons and daughters at home and abroad. It is steel, loyalty, and destiny rolled into one — a symbol that wherever we are in the world, our heart beats for the fondom.

History reminds us of a painful exchange: “When the missionaries came, they had the Bible and we had the land. We closed our eyes to pray. When we opened them, we had the Bible and they had the land.”_

During Pope Leo XIV’s visit to St. Joseph Cathedral in Mankon last week, His Royal Majesty Angwafor IV Fru Asaah, Fon of Mankon, spoke to that legacy. Our ancestors _generously provided land_ for the churches to be built.

The entire Ngemba community allegedly thanks these two great kings for keeping aside the airport ownership argument and holding back the rains on the day the man of God visited.

Days earlier we made a post about the ownership of the airport and we were met with rude insults. Now the entire nation is asking the same question.

This gentleman Joshua T Berglan (From the US) says he finds more peace and feels safer in Bamenda than in the United States.

Now, many people find that ironically sarcastic given the fact America is every average minded African's dream destination and also given the fact Bamenda is a crisis striken zone.

But if you actually get to watch his vlogs, you'll understand that true happiness is not just about having cash in your pocket. It has more to do with connecting with nature and getting rid of many social and societal burdens.

Lucky Dube in one his songs explains this concept by saying " the grass is greener on the other side until you get there and see for yourself"

WE FOUND HER. MAMA IS HOME.

On March 28th, 2026, our mother — Mama Awah Cecilia Nimo Ngwe Nyama of Alamutu Mankon — went missing in Bafut.

The news hit hard. But what happened next showed who we are.

For weeks, the entire Mankon community stood up. You shared her photo on every platform. You prayed. You searched. You called. You didn’t rest. Strangers became family because one of our mothers was missing.

By God’s grace, Mama was found safe and sound around Ntah Ngoh. She is now home in Alamutu, reunited with us.

To everyone who moved, shared, prayed, and refused to give up we say Miyaka. THANK YOU.

This is what community looks like. This is what love in action means. We felt your support every single day.

We offer gratitude from a family that knows it could not have done this alone.
