Below is Pierre-Louis Auvray's collection for VFiles Runway show at New York Fashion Week.

September, 5th 2019 - Central Saint Martins graduate, Pierre-Louis Auvray made his debut at NYFW.

This collection is a great example of sustainability in fashion. The designer asked his friends to use their old sweaters which he cut into details, mixed with game consoles and reimagined all together as armor.

Inspired by strong female characters from 90s movies like Poison Ivy, Batman, Macho Man, as well as costume transformations from Japanese anime Akira, Pierre-Louis Auvray's collection is a cosplay fantasy brought to life.

Inspiration comes in many ways, same as a design born out of this inspiration. My latest story about gansey sweater has been increased with my two more new designs: a beanie and a shawl. In this video I am talking about these designs, yarn I used and ways to style these designs.
Also, I went to Osaka for the first time to host a knitting class. Took a video, created a vlog :)

プラダ(PRADA) 2019-20年秋冬メンズコレクションが、イタリア・ミラノで発表されました。
デザイナーのミウッチャ・プラダの今回のテーマは、“フランケンシュタイン”です。
ミウッチャ・プラダにとってのフランケンシュタインは、社会でどんなに頑張っても、 なかなか うまくいかない人達です。
デザイナーのミウッチャ・プラダは、コレクションで自己表現の自由について話しています。
コレクションで、いろんなスタイルと素材のミックスが多かったです。
私は、ふわふわのセーターも見つけました。
そのセーターのスタイリングは、セーターの上にグラフィックなデザインのシャツを合わせていました。
ハートを合わせた手編みのセーターもコレクションにありました。❤️
なので、ハイファッションのブランドでも、時々コレクションに手編み物を使っていることがわかります。

Prada Men's Fall 2019
This time Designer Miuccia Prada was thinking about Frankenstein’s monster as she worked up her fall men’s collection. The Monster that couldn't fit the society.
The designer is talking about the freedom of self-expression and about the Monster that was looking for love in the collection.
Because of the theme of the collection, we can see mix of styles and materials. Fuzzy sweaters are worn under graphic T-shirts. Knitted parts are mixed with nylon sleeves.
And! What I always talk about - the hand-made sweater (the one with the heart) is also there! On the runway! ❤️
